Spring Newsletter 2016

In 2016 Seed and Field Services Ltd (SFS) was appointed the New Zealand Distributor for Crop Solutions (UK) Crop Covers. These covers include Insect netting of various mesh sizes, Bird and Hail netting and Fleece.

We are now well into 2016 with Onion harvest fully underway, while for some growers it has even been completed. It is nice to see strong demand and reasonable prices being paid for good quality onions.

Summer Newsletter 2015

We are almost at the end of 2015 which has been a rewarding year for many growers of a range of crops, the exception being onion growers where returns have been poor in many cases in the early and main season. Later in the season returns lifted and the new crop prices have also lately been very good.
