Kiyotaki

This versatile variety from Terranova has proven to be a dependable performer for local Salad, or Spring Onion growers.

Initially trialed by Seed and Field services in the winter production time slot, Kiyotaki demonstrated very satisfactory growth rates and produced good stem and foliage length and retained dark green foliage colour right through to full maturity. Plant uniformity through winter is also impressive.

Recent successful use of Kiyotaki through the Summer production period proves that this Spring Onion can simplify the choice of variety for local Spring Onion growers.

Zeffa

A newer introduction from Terranova that has proven, like Kiyotaki to be effective all year round.

The outstanding feature that showed up during

trials was it ability to withstand harsh winter weather and winds, with its strong upright leaves helping the plant to remain standing, and still harvestable after adverse weather.

This along with Zeffa's excellent vigour has found favour with growers alongside Kiyotaki for year round production.
